Preconception massage.... is designed to support and assist your body’s natural reproductive processes and rhythms, and ideal for all women who have the desire to get pregnant. This method focuses on cleansing and clearing the body of adhesions and energetic blockages and increasing blood flow to the spine and pelvis.

The preconception period can become an extremely stressful time for everyone involved, and one of the primary factors in fertility challenges is often a high stress level. It is easy to see how this can become a vicious cycle. One of the greatest benefits of regular massage is stress reduction, and so the preconception massage is also designed to relax and nurture you.

If you’ve been trying to conceive for some time, you may find that your sense of the beauty and sacredness of conception is replaced by the science and rigor of timing. Oftentimes, as medical interventions and assistive technologies come into play, it is easy to become distant and removed from your original, love-filled intention. Nurturing, intent-full massage can support your connection to the sacredness of creating new life.

If you are actively trying to conceive, preconception massage can only be performed from the start of menstruation until ovulation. This work cannot be performed if there is a possibility that you are pregnant.

Doulas: Should you hire a labor coach?

A birth doula is a trained labor coach who assists you during labor and delivery. She provides you with continuous emotional support, as well as assistance with other non-medical aspects of your care.

What's it like to have support from a doula during labor?

Everyone's experience is different, of course, but here's one woman's story of a doula-assisted labor:

"Hiring a doula is like hiring somebody who's there just for you. When I went into labor, our doula met us at the hospital. Eighteen babies were born in the hospital that day, so our labor and delivery nurse was quite happy to have someone else there to provide emotional support and help make me more comfortable.

"Having the doula gave me enormous confidence, plus it took the pressure off my husband. He was able to relax and enjoy the experience. The doula showed him some acupressure techniques he wanted to try.

"She locked eyes with me and helped me breathe through my contractions, making suggestions about moving around and trying different pain management techniques. She could read my body signals perfectly, and knew when I was in transition (when I got sick, a pan magically materialized). She helped me remember to drink fluids and communicate my needs to the nurses.

"I couldn't have done it without her. She made me fearless, and the lack of fear is what gets you through the pain without drugs. I had complete confidence in her.

Welcome To Everlasting Doula Services A Mothers Care Where We Provide Customized Labor Support and Postpartum Doula Packages For You!

Prior Prenatal Planning:

We will meet at either your home or a coffee shop to decide whether our services are right for you. We will come to your home for a complete prenatal consultation and give you the opportunity to discuss your birth plan and desires.

You should also use this opportunity to decide if we are a good "fit" for one another. This meeting usually turns out to be a "mini" childbirth education class.

The fee for this one hour in-home consultation is free. Should you retain my services I will work with you on a fee.

Unlimited and Continuous Labor Support

It is my intention to serve everyone that wants a doula irrespective of ability to pay.

All actual rates are discussed prior to or at the first meeting and are included in our contract for services. Feel free to call me with any questions that you may have. As a courtesy to my clients, I will always have a backup doula.
